Projects

So I've discovered my life is full of projects. Many unfinished ones. I figure if I document the progress things will get done. Pressure out weighs procrastination.

The first project I've undertaken recently is the 'gardens'. I use quotes because they are really just small squares of dirt, but I'm determined to make something of them this year. We've been here 4 summers now and every year I say I'm going to plant something and every year I got to busy and nothing grew but weeds.

So this is the front beds. Yeah it's just dirt now but I've thrown in some seeds and either they grow or they don't. Cross my fingers, in a month or so it will be pretty.

This little flower is a leftover from residents gone by. The leaves grew every year but never a flower. I weeded it on Sat., watered it every day and poof. Pretty. So I have 1 flower. Woo Hoo!

These are chives I've planted in a pot in the kitchen. They sprouted this morning. Look close, they're there.

This is the back bed. Every thing growing now has been there since before we came. I've planted various seeds. Just have to wait and see what grows.

This is a second project. This one is big. We got some software to help simplify things with the company, now that it's getting busier. I need to inventory all this plumbing stuff. The pic on the ltop is what has to be done, the pic on the bottom is what's done. I did spend a year working shipping and receiving in a plumbing warehouse but I've forgotten what so much of this stuff is. I have to write everything down, then create a data base. The good news is once this is done, invoicing and quotes will be so much easier to complete. Everything else is put on hold till this is done. Sigh, guess I'll get back to the basement.

  1. you must be an artist of some sort. DaVinci had many unfinished projects. I don't know anyone who doesn't. You are not alone. I like your flower. :) Good luck with your projects.
