Home for good

I am home. Since I have decided not to be blah on my blog I will spare my dear readers the yucky details of why I came home for good and what unpleasant incident occured upon my arrival. If someone has a sympathetic shoulder (or you just want the gory details) you can send me an e-mail and I will unload. But I warn....I have a lot of yuck right now. So onto other adventures. PEOPLE... do NOT let anyone convince you that a 6 km hike is a good idea with sandals and no socks.
These are my heels. The left one was bleeding. I tried to say" Dude, bad idea" But hey, if you know my hubby, any hike for him should never be discouraged.
These are the flowers I now have. Only a few and little but YEAH! I grew them. There are some bigger ones getting ready to burst any day. My turnips have grown (drumroll please) SLUGS. I have grown lots of stuff and never have had a slug. We are going to change the time of day we water but I'm not sure what else to do. My poor turnip leaves are very sad right now. I was outside looking at my garden this evening, talking to TA when he reaches over, mid conversation, and SNAPS the flowers off the potato plant. We were both shocked. He, because he had no idea why he did that, and me, not believing he did that. So, who knows about potato plants? I don't. Do they need the flowers? Will they still grow? Man, gardening is getting weird. I used to only grow carrots and peas.
How come sandals sounds like candles but spelled different?
