Home for good

I am home. Since I have decided not to be blah on my blog I will spare my dear readers the yucky details of why I came home for good and what unpleasant incident occured upon my arrival. If someone has a sympathetic shoulder (or you just want the gory details) you can send me an e-mail and I will unload. But I warn....I have a lot of yuck right now. So onto other adventures. PEOPLE... do NOT let anyone convince you that a 6 km hike is a good idea with sandals and no socks.
These are my heels. The left one was bleeding. I tried to say" Dude, bad idea" But hey, if you know my hubby, any hike for him should never be discouraged.
These are the flowers I now have. Only a few and little but YEAH! I grew them. There are some bigger ones getting ready to burst any day. My turnips have grown (drumroll please) SLUGS. I have grown lots of stuff and never have had a slug. We are going to change the time of day we water but I'm not sure what else to do. My poor turnip leaves are very sad right now. I was outside looking at my garden this evening, talking to TA when he reaches over, mid conversation, and SNAPS the flowers off the potato plant. We were both shocked. He, because he had no idea why he did that, and me, not believing he did that. So, who knows about potato plants? I don't. Do they need the flowers? Will they still grow? Man, gardening is getting weird. I used to only grow carrots and peas.
How come sandals sounds like candles but spelled different?

Oops

Haha. Hi. Back in Red Deer again. Had to drag myself to the clinic. Pulled my AC tendon. Doc says this is usually an injury we see in joggers. I did it placing a water bottle on a shelf. So my left leg is on fire. I got some cream to rub on it. Might have to go to physio if it doesn't stop screaming at me.

I have lots of green. No flowers yet. Raspberries are starting. JJ and I enjoyed a handful today. The turnips are really doing well. I have 1 carrot. The second batch I planted has about 5 coming up. The potato plant is growing very well.

These are some of the things I've seen on our camping trips. JJ and I go for a walk in the mornings. We've found wild strawberries, rhubarb, raspberries, lots of flowers, a little toad, lots of animal tracks, different mushrooms. Lots of neat stuff. JJ has gotten to drive a little garden tractor, chop small trees for wood, use a wheel barrel to transport wood, go fishing, and lots of fun 10 yr old boy stuff. We're going back again soon for more fun.

Also to my cousin Oksana.... I would like to follow your blog but I can't find it. Help.

Hello

Hello my loverlies. How have you been? I am very much enjoying the sunshine. I am home now but heading out again today. I have decided I do not want to put negativity on my blog. That's REALLY hard today. So how about just saying, my brother's a schmuck, the gas company is a pain, friends are fair weather, and I want a tranquilizer. Hahaha. No tranq's....fine. I'm going camping for the weekend then. Have to be home by Mon in case someone calls for an interview. Ya, right. Haven't had a call in 4 months. Big fat SHEESH! followed by a humph. I should load some of my new pics but I am not in that frame of mind today. I'm feeling very feisty today. Wanna scrap? Oh come on...just a little. No? Sad face. Oh I have lovely green things in my gardens. No flowers yet but lots of promise. Happy face. JA passed to grade 5, TA passed to grade 10, and JA will be in grade 12. Big proud momma grin. Then fan in my window burnt out last night. What a stink! Hubby really wants to put the canned air in (A/C) but I despise that thing. So far he hasn't done it but with the broken fan I may not be able to fight the power any longer. Every year he puts the thing in the window and every year he gets a hack that last about 2 weeks. Then he whines about this hack he gets every summer. Gee, no hack so far this summer. Oh sure. I just realized no one took the garbage out last night. SHEESH! I have my garbage all packed and ready to go but the lad charged with garbage duty didn't do it. Double sheesh. Can I quit my kids? No? Fine. Guess I get moving and start getting things together for the weekend. Bada bum bum sing along Blue skies shining on me, nothin' but blue skies do I see.
